Job Description
SILICON Austria Labs GmbH (SAL) is Austria's leading research center for electronic system based technologies, the technological backbone of digitalization. SAL conducts research in areas like sensor systems, power electronics, intelligent wireless systems, microsystems, and embedded systems, and collaborates with industry and academia to develop sustainable solutions for environmental protection, health, energy, mobility, and security.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance or Equipment Service Engineer in semiconductor cleanrooms, ideally within an industrial or advanced research environment
- Hands-on expertise in wet etch tools and processes
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel); experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Comfortable working in a multicultural and collaborative research environment
