Job Description
SAL MicroFab is seeking a motivated Lithography R&D Process Engineer to join their team. The role involves developing, optimizing, and maintaining stable lithography processes, establishing process baselines, and ensuring high uptime. Collaboration with the process engineering team and leadership responsibilities are key components. The company emphasizes flexibility, continuous learning, and family-friendly benefits.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Materials Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years experience as a lithography process engineer in an industrial/applied research semiconductor FAB
- 5+ years of experience preferred
- Hands-on experience with lithography process & metrology tools
- Understanding in mask design and/or stepper (advantage)
- Proven experience with process control, SPC, Problem Solving, CIP, Lean, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a research-driven environment
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Willingness to relocate to Villach, Austria
