Job Description
Silicon Austria Labs (SAL) is seeking a motivated researcher for ion-trap chips development, aiming to become part of the European Chips Act project. The role involves contributing to fabrication and application of ion-trap chips in a highly collaborative and international environment. It's a temporary position with potential for future extended duration, aligned with the project timeline.
Requirements
- PhD (MSc*) in physics, quantum technology, electronics engineering or similar.
- Background in trapped-ion quantum technology.
- Some experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
- Proficiency in English.
- Willingness to relocate to Austria/Villach.
- Willingness to travel.
