Job Description
Silicon Austria Labs is seeking an experienced Research Engineer/Scientist to lead the development of ion-trap chips (ITCs). This role involves coordinating ITC development, fabrication, testing, and contributing to the advancement of ion trap chip technology. The position requires strong communication and project management skills within an international, collaborative environment.
Requirements
- PhD in physics, quantum technology, electronics engineering or similar
- 3+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing and trapped-ion quantum technology
- Experience in industrial environment is an asset.
- Proficiency in English.
- German or willingness to learn is an asset.
- Motivated team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Austria/Villach.
- Willingness to travel.
