Job Description
Simon & Schuster is seeking a Contracts Assistant to collaborate closely with the Contract Systems & Data Coordinator and Director, serving as a central operational hub for the Contracts Department.
Requirements
- Enter new acquisition contracts into our databases, consulting with the Contracts Coordinator for complex cases.
- Manage changes to existing contracts, including collecting and processing necessary paperwork.
- Provide support to expedite processes and enhance departmental efficiency.
- Use Excel and our company databases to track and log contract details.
- Clarify contract terms to other departments upon request.
- Assist with contract-related research projects and other ad-hoc tasks as required.
