Job Description
Simple Machines is seeking a Technical Team Lead to lead and manage a team of DevOps Engineers and Software Engineers in Katowice, Silesian Voivodeship, Poland. The role involves overseeing the design, development, and deployment of software solutions, ensuring best practices in DevOps and cloud operations, and collaborating with clients and teams in the UK. Strong technical expertise and people management skills are essential.
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal English
- Proven experience leading software engineering teams, ideally with DevOps or platform engineering
- Strong technical background in modern platforming languages (Java, JVM, or Kotlin)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and infrastructure automation
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and monitoring practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
