Job Description
Simple Machines is seeking a Technical Team Lead for their software engineering team in Kraków, Poland. The role involves leading, mentoring, and overseeing the design and development of scalable software solutions, establishing best practices in DevOps and cloud operations, and collaborating with clients. The position requires a candidate with strong technical expertise, people management skills, and fluency in English. The ideal candidate will be based in Poland, with full-time working rights to be considered.
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal English.
- Proven experience leading software engineering teams, ideally with exposure to DevOps or platform engineering.
- Strong technical background in modern platforming languages (Java, JVM, Kotlin).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, or GCP) and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ideally experience in consulting or client-facing environments
- Ability to lead, mentor and up skill engineers who work remotely.
