Broadcast Engineer

WACH-Columbia, SC is seeking a dynamic Broadcast Engineer to maintain and repair television and video automation systems, including computers and servers, along with broadcasting equipment. The role involves providing support to broadcasting operations, addressing maintenance requests, and keeping up-to-date on industry standards. It's an on-site position with the potential for unexpected emergencies.

Requirements

• Associates degree or higher in IT, electronics or computer related field
• 2 - 4 years of related broadcast experience
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft, Mac and Linux operating systems
• Knowledge and competency in core hardware and computer system technologies
• Proficiency in troubleshooting problems
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid & unencumbered driver’s license
