Job Description
Smith Pump is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join their dedicated team. This role involves pump inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, and operation of mobile pump service rigs. The position offers the opportunity to work on the road and contribute to the operation of water and wastewater pumps, troubleshooting and ensuring smooth operations. Approximately 75% travel is required.
Requirements
- Experience as a service technician and/or mechanic.
- Understanding of water pumps, electrical or mechanical equipment.
- Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to drive a commercial vehicle daily.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
