Field Service Engineer

The Company is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover South of Birmingham and the surrounding areas. This role focuses on ensuring excellent service to both internal and external customers, identifying revenue opportunities, and ensuring efficient repairs/maintenance of Volvo construction equipment. The engineer will be responsible for quotations, time guides, and ensuring software updates are installed, alongside reporting on work to management.

Requirements

• A formal engineering qualification in Plant Maintenance, Agricultural / HGV mechanics or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy construction plant.
• Advanced diagnostic and trouble shooting skills and comprehensive understanding of hydraulics, electrics and EATS.
• Ability to communicate efficiently with colleagues, management and customers
