Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover the North West of Scotland. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, identifying mechanical issues, and driving revenue through aftermarket solutions. The engineer will work with quotations, time guides, and demonstrate a focus on profitability. Responsibilities include servicing Volvo construction equipment, performing diagnostics, managing parts inventory, and providing technical support to customers.

Requirements

• Formal engineering qualification in Plant Maintenance, Agricultural / HGV mechanics or related discipline
• Relevant experience in repair and maintenance of heavy construction plant
• Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work with cost conscious mindset and problem solve
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to understand technical literature/systems
