Buyer

Snap-on, Inc. is seeking a motivated professional to join our team as a Buyer/Purchasing Specialist at our Power Tool plant in Murphy, NC. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic acquisition of raw materials, components, equipment, and services necessary for manufacturing and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in industrial procurement or strategic sourcing within a manufacturing environment.
• APICS, CPIM, CSCP, or ISM/CPSM certifications are considered a strong plus.
• Advanced proficiency in MRP systems to manage demand forecasts, historical data, and operational planning.
• High-level Excel skills are required; ability to use Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and develop formulas to query data.
• Experience managing international supplier relationships, including an understanding of global logistics, lead times, and landed cost analysis.
