Job Description
Snap-on Business Solutions is seeking a Database Administrator II to support the provision of logical and relational databases across multiple platforms. The role involves design, implementation, maintenance, and security management of databases, assisting internal and external clients, and contributing to performance management and development efforts. Candidates should be strong problem solvers and team players, with a focus on contributing to a culture of respect, teamwork, and integrity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Six to eight (6-8) years of extensive experience installing and supporting Postgres, Microsoft SQL/Server, open source database solutions, and related technologies
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Excellent problem solving and consultative skills
- Excellent planning, project management and implementation skills
- Ability to travel to remote company locations
