Lead Engineer

We're AtkinsRéalis, a world-class Engineering Services and Nuclear organization. We're seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Lead Engineer to join our Bangalore office. The role offers the opportunity to shape sustainable, resilient solutions for complex hydraulic environments while mentoring teams and engaging with clients across the UK and international markets.

Requirements

• Lead the delivery of river engineering projects from concept through to detailed design and construction support, ensuring technical excellence and innovation.
• Provide technical leadership in civil hydraulics and structural design of riverine infrastructure.
• Manage project budgets, programmes, and resources, ensuring delivery to agreed quality, time, and cost.
• Collaborate with geotechnical, environmental, and hydraulic modelling teams to deliver integrated, multidisciplinary solutions.
• Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment with project objectives and compliance with relevant standards.
• Support business development through bid preparation, proposal writing, and client relationship management.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
