Job Description
SoFi is seeking experienced Underwriters to review and decide home equity and mortgage loan applications. The role requires strong analytical skills, understanding of credit risk, collateral evaluation, and program guidelines. Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of conventional loan underwriting experience.
- Strong credit, risk analysis, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with DU and LP.
- Experience analyzing self-employment income.
- Experience reviewing full appraisals and title reports.
- Thorough knowledge of credit policy, underwriting guidelines, and property evaluation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Hybrid role with in-office collaboration in Charlotte, NC (approximately 1–2 days per week).
