Job Description
PlayStation is looking for a Senior Product Analytics Engineer to join their engineering team in Dublin, Ireland. The role involves building products that are measurable, insightful, and continuously improving. The team is responsible for building applications and backend services that provide personalized content to PlayStation customers.
Requirements
- Quantitative degree or equivalent experience in Statistics, Computer/Data Science, Mathematics, Analytics, or related field.
- 5+ years in analytics-driven roles (data analytics/engineering/science or software engineering) within consumer-facing product environments.
- Advanced SQL plus coding proficiency in languages like Python, Java, or TypeScript.
- Hands-on with large datasets & complex queries, optimizing for performance and reliability.
- Experience with event/logging pipelines (Kafka, Kinesis, Datadog, OpenTelemetry) and product-analytics platforms (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Adobe Analytics).
- Proven cross-functional collaborator with engineering, product, and data-science teams.
- Contributor to shared event taxonomies and schemas, with deep understanding of retention, conversion, engagement metrics.
- Demonstrated curiosity and continuous-learning mindset.
