Privacy Attorney

Sony Corporation of America is seeking an Attorney, Privacy to join the Sony Group Corporation Digital Transformation group's Data Enablement team. This position will be based in the San Diego, Culver City, or San Mateo office and will report to the Sr Counsel/Privacy Officer, Sony Group Corporation, Privacy Section.

Requirements

• A J.D. degree and membership in good standing in at least one state bar.
• 5-8 years of related, practical legal experience working in a law firm or corporate environment.
• In-house experience in a multinational corporation or top tier law firm strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' demonstrable experience in operationalizing data privacy experience.
• Experience drafting privacy compliance language and documentation for consumer products or services.
• Experience providing practical advice on privacy enhancing technologies, such as through privacy impact assessments for consumer products or services.
