This position supports Power Delivery by providing accounting and financial support, preparing and monitoring the Power Delivery Budget, and analyzing the business to identify issues and recommend solutions.
Requirements
- 4-year bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Southern Company budgeting experience
- Experience in Utility Industry Budgeting & Accounting Organization
- Ability to develop and maintain complex Excel Pivot Tables
- Proficiency with PowerPlan and/or Oracle Cloud applications
- Knowledge of budgeting, accounting, auditing, costing and financial principles
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills, time management skills, and written and oral communications skills
