Fleet Mechanic

Space Center Houston is seeking a full-time Fleet Mechanic to perform routine maintenance and repairs on a fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and reliable.

Requirements

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on Space Center Houston’s fleet of vehicles
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in various types of vehicles
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed on each vehicle
• Manage and order parts and supplies needed for vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Maintain an organized and clean work area, including tools and equipment
• Respond to roadside breakdowns and perform emergency repairs as needed
