The Quality Manager will maintain and improve the Quality System, plan and coordinate internal audits, and support surveillance audits. The role involves supporting the PA/QA team in defining, designing, and executing Product Assurance activities. The successful candidate will have a university degree in a relevant field and experience in similar activities, preferably in Space, Aviation, or Defence programs.
Requirements
- University degree in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Telecommunications or Electronics)
- Experience in similar activities, better if acquired in Space, Aviation or Defence programs, or in highly security-sensitive Industrial sectors.
- Proven and qualified experience in professional Product Assurance and Quality Assurance, preferrably in the satellite operations business
- Experience in Aerospace or Defense programs, preferably in Galileo
- Comprehensive and in-depth knowledge as well as experience of auditing and subcontractor auditing
- Good knowledge of ESA-ECSS-Q-series standards and workmanship procedures
- Good knowledge at system level of Galileo Program and current deployment status and criticalities
- Good knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Standards
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Fast decision making in case of service impacting problems
- Ability to work in intercultural and geographically distributed work environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal liaising and communication skills with strong attitude to team work
- Hands-on mentality and systematic, self-organized, able to prioritize way of working
- Fluency in written and spoken English, with knowledge of Italian and/or German also appreciated
- Fluency in standard office automation tools (MS Office, Email, Internet, etc.)
