Job Description
The Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing medical care to student athletes, including triage, patient instruction, and data collection. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in athletic training or a related field, as well as certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC) and licensure as an Athletic Trainer in the State of Michigan. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience in athletic training, including experience in injury assessment and treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of injuries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in athletic training or a related field
- Certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC)
- Licensure as an Athletic Trainer in the State of Michigan
- 1 year of relevant experience in athletic training
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross
