Job Description
The Athletic Trainer will provide athletic training services to athletes, including triage, patient instruction, data collection and monitoring, and documentation. The role will also involve evaluating athletes' physical condition, observing and assisting with equipment fitting, and preparing players for practices and games. The Athletic Trainer will work with the team Physician/Lead Athletic Trainer/Manager to plan and implement physical examinations, rehabilitation of injured players, and reconditioning programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Completion of a CAATE approved athletic training education program
- 1 year of relevant experience in athletic training
- CRT-Athletic Trainer, Certified - BOC Board of Certification and Accreditation
- LIC-Athletic Trainer License - STATE_MI State of Michigan
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or ARC American Red Cross
- CRT-Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Certified (CSCS) - NSCA National Strength and Conditioning Association
- LIC-Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - STATE_MI State of Michigan
