Job Description
Spectrum Security Services is seeking a Detention Officer (DO) to provide security and support services for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The role involves escorting and supervising detainees, ensuring compliance with DHS guidelines and ICE regulations. A thorough background check, potentially up to 4 months, is required.
Requirements
- One year of experience in law enforcement or military police; OR Six months of experience as a security officer engaged in detaining civil or administrative detainees; OR A two-year college degree or related professional training, and six months of experience as a security officer.
- Licensed Commercial Driving experience with air brakes and passenger endorsement.
- Pass a medical examination.
- No criminal record.
- No illegal substance use history.
- Good driving record.
- Good credit history.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Registered as an Armed Security Guard with BSIS.
- Current valid certifications for training in First Aid, CPR, and Bloodborne Pathogens.
- Pass a DHS background investigation.
