Job Description
Spot AI is building a future of intelligent operations powered by video cameras. They are revolutionizing video surveillance into AI-driven solutions, automating tasks across manufacturing and logistics, and working with companies like Boeing and Ford. The company has grown rapidly and is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to build and scale their edge-based video processing stack.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years building production-ready video pipelines with GStreamer, FFmpeg, or similar frameworks
- Hands-on experience with streaming protocols like WebRTC, RTSP, or HLS and codecs like H.264, H.265
- Experience coding in Rust or C/C++ programmers comfortable with using Rust, and deploying applications in Linux environments
- Strong problem-solving mindset, strong communication skills, and a desire to work cross-functionally
