Senior Backend Engineer - Subscriptions

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Subscriptions Mission at Spotify. The team is responsible for driving user conversion, retention, and upsells. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will participate in building and maintaining systems responsible for user conversion, retention, and upsells.

Requirements

• 5+ years of working experience as a Backend Engineer working with Java
• Strong computer science fundamentals and previous experience building complex backend services at scale
• Experience in designing, implementing, and scaling cloud-native software components on providers such as GCP, AWS, etc.
• Experience working directly with stakeholders to understand, document, and develop APIs and systems to meet their requirements
• Ability to work collaboratively on cross-functional teams and independently driving complex delivery initiatives
• Experience in writing distributed, high-volume services and deploying and operating them in production
