The RN will provide nursing care to patients following Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice, utilizing the Nursing Process and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. They will also be responsible for documentation and delegation of work, and will work both in-person and on-site at Springfield, VT.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
- Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing or compact state RN license in good standing
- Six (6) months of nursing experience is desirable for specialty areas
- Effective people skills and communication
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products
- Proficiency in the use of technology in care delivery
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Basic dysrhythmia
- De-escalation training
- Emergency Severity Index (ESI) Course
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) (preferred)
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) (preferred)
- Six months of nursing experience
