Job Description
The RN will provide nursing care to patients, adhering to nursing standards and Department of Nursing standards. They will utilize the Nursing Process to make nursing judgments and document care, ensuring compliance with health care regulations. The role may involve floating to other departments.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing or compact state RN license in good standing
- Six (6) months of nursing experience
- Effective people skills and communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft office products
- Proficiency in technology in care delivery
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Basic dysrhythmia
- De-escalation training
- Emergency Severity Index (ESI) Course
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
