Job Description
St. Mary’s College is seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician to join our Facilities Management team. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems throughout the campus.
Requirements
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air handlers, boilers, chillers, ductwork, heat pumps, and control systems.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC systems and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose system malfunctions and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Monitor HVAC systems to ensure compliance with energy conservation and sustainability standards.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, including after-hours calls as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors.
- Ensure work complies with all applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Assist with planning and implementation of HVAC system upgrades and capital projects.
