Adjunct Faculty, VN Pediatrics- Instructor

Stanbridge University is seeking an engaging adjunct faculty member to guide students in the Pediatrics component of their Vocational Nursing Program. The role involves providing expert clinical instruction, collaborating with the Program Director, and assessing student performance. The position emphasizes engagement, clinical judgment, and a passion for teaching and fostering student success.

Requirements

• Current and active California license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
• Bachelor's degree required
• Four (4) years of bedside or clinical nursing experience within the past five (5) years
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Card
• Previous work experience in aPediatrics setting, hospitals, and/or skilled nursing facilities
• Must have at least one (1) year of acute care experience within the past five (5) years
• Previous teaching experience is preferred
