Job Description
Stanbridge University is seeking an inspired and committed Adjunct Faculty member to guide students and foster excellence in the Pediatrics component of the Vocational Nursing Program. This role involves collaborative instruction with the program director, adapting teaching strategies for student retention and satisfaction, and assessing student performance. The position emphasizes classroom teaching, clinical skills, and adherence to assigned timelines.
Requirements
- Current and active California license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- Bachelor's degree
- Four (4) years of bedside or clinical nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Card
- Current Pediatrics setting work experience (preferred)
- At least one (1) year of acute care experience (past 5 years)
- Up-to-date immunization records
