Job Description
Stantec is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the design of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems for water treatment plants and other industrial/municipal facilities. The role involves designing high-quality, reliable systems while collaborating with various disciplines in the water industry, both in the US and Canada. The company emphasizes sustainable growth and innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Apply expertise in leading studies, design development, and service during construction for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Develop design documents.
- Review and apply Alberta and International mechanical and plumbing codes and standards.
- Model buildings in load calculation software.
- Design and analyze air and hydronic distribution systems.
- Design HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems using Revit if needed.
- Assist and oversee junior staff and CAD team.
- Site visits.
- On-site visits in Canada and US.
