Job Description
H2O+U is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to deliver transformational projects for communities facing clean water needs. The role involves leading the design of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems in diverse locations across North America, contributing innovative ideas based on scientific rigor and sustainability.
Requirements
- Lead the design of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems.
- Develop basis of design reports (BODR) and technical memorandums.
- Develop design documents including drawings, specifications, and opinion of probable construction costs.
- Respond to RFIs and review submittals.
- Develop HVAC calculations (cooling and heating load, air distribution, hydronic sizing).
- Develop Plumbing calculations (domestic, sanitary, storm water).
- Apply design codes and standards.
- Coordinate design with other disciplines.
- Assist with training engineers.
