Job Description
Stantec is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to contribute to the company's mission to become the world’s leading integrated design practice. The role involves independent work on projects of varying scale, leading junior engineers, and ensuring project delivery on time and within budget. Collaboration with various engineering disciplines is essential.
Requirements
- Evaluate, select, and specify engineered systems or products.
- Develop job-specific discipline specifications.
- Lead junior engineers in complex projects.
- Perform Construction Administration duties (field observations, RFIs, submittal reviews, change orders).
- Calculate using company standard software and proprietary software.
- Understand industry standard design processes and construction means.
- Communicate design issues and solutions to the design team and client.
