Accountant 1 or 2

The Montana Department of Revenue is seeking an Accountant 1 or 2 to manage the department's accounting and fiscal systems and activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for revenue collection and distribution, providing professional support for agency operations, and preparing and monitoring the department's budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or a directly related field
• 0-2 years of job-related work experience with progressively responsible experience in accounting, fiscal and/or budget management (for Accountant I)
• 2+ years of job-related work experience with progressive responsibility and experience in accounting and fiscal/budget management (for Accountant II)
