Job Description
We are seeking a Financial Compliance Manager who provides management and leadership to our Business Systems Analyst, Financial Data Analyst, and State Social Security Administrator. The position involves operational and data coordination, policies and procedures development, risk management, and strategic planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Current CPA license (desirable)
- Direct experience with financial accounting systems and/or databases
- General knowledge of customer reporting software and terminology
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) statements
- Federal regulations as they relate to state government
- Software interrelationships between applications and databases
- Montana Code Annotated (MCA) and Administrative Rules of Montana (ARM)
