Job Description
The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) is seeking a Patient Advocacy Specialist to investigate patient-related complaints and grievances, and to review federal and state regulations related to healthcare services.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of CMS and Joint Commission regulations
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements and industry practices
- Ability to manage patient complaint grievance program
- Strong working knowledge of state and federal requirements affecting acute psychiatric facilities
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Strong computer knowledge and ability to utilize typical office programs
