Legislative Aide

Representative Emerson Levy is hiring a full-time Legislative Aide to provide policy, constituent, and administrative support. The position requires a bachelor's degree and three to five years of related experience. The job involves working closely with Rep. Levy and the Chief of Staff, tracking and assisting with responses to constituent contact, and engaging in constituent casework and interface with state agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and three to five years of related experience
• Interest/Experience in public policy issues and the legislative process
• Experience working with others in a team setting or in a public facing role
• Strong written communication skills
• Familiarity with House District 53
• Growth mindset
• Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work with the public
• Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly
• Ability to travel to Salem
