The office of Representative Willy Chotzen is recruiting for a Legislative Assistant IV / Chief of Staff to oversee the day-to-day operations and administration of the office, including supervision of staff and interns, and to assist in the development of legislative strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5-7 years of related experience
• Knowledge of the legislative process
• Strong and effective verbal and written communication
• Researching, analyzing, and synthesizing complex policy issues
• Management and supervision of staff, volunteers, and interns
• Listening and community outreach
• Building and managing relationships
