Job Description
Steampunk is seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to develop enterprise-grade data platforms and solutions for clients. The role focuses on data strategy, collaboration with data practitioners and clients, and integration with Human-Centered Design and DevSecOps principles. The company emphasizes a data-driven, customer-focused approach and delivers solutions within the Federal contracting industry.
Requirements
- Ability to hold a position of public trust with the US government.
- 2-4 years industry experience coding commercial software.
- 2-4 years direct experience in Data Engineering with experience in tools such as: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
- Experience with database / data warehouse solutions in cloud.
- Experience with message queuing, stream processing, and scalable 'big data' data stores.
- Experience manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets.
