Job Description
Steampunk is seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to develop enterprise-grade data platforms and solutions for clients. They aim to build and execute a data strategy that aligns the organization with a data-driven approach, leveraging analytics platforms to solve complex problems and improve efficiency. The role involves data exploration, ETL process management, and designing and developing data products within an Agile environment.
Requirements
- Ability to hold a position of public trust with the US government.
- 2-4 years industry experience coding commercial software.
- 2-4 years experience in Data Engineering with experience in tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra.
- Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift, or Azure equivalents).
- Experience with message queuing, stream processing and big data stores.
