Job Description
SCT is seeking a CAD Operator/Detailer to join their team at their Belmont, MI plant. The role involves receiving customer orders, using CAD software to analyze design specifications, quantify work, and contact customers for clarification. The position requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Receive e-mails from customers and sort them.
- Utilize CAD software.
- Determine required procedures (machining, welding, etc.).
- Apply hourly rate for time estimation.
- Obtain quotes for outside processes.
- Act as liaison between customer and shop production.
