Electrical Engineering Internship

Steel Dynamics is seeking Electrical Engineering Interns to assist with the reliability and maintenance of their industrial facilities. This internship provides hands-on experience working alongside experienced engineers in a metal processing environment, applying engineering principles directly to equipment and systems. Interns are offered furnished housing and company match on the 401k plan.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• Experience with electrical machinery, power distribution, PLCs/automation systems, power electronics/drives (preferred).
• GPA of at least 2.7.
• Examples of completed projects include inspecting/documenting PTs/CTs, preventative maintenance of high-voltage substations, optimizing safety practices.
