Electrical Engineering Internship

Steel Dynamics is seeking an Electrical Engineering Internship to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced industrial environment. This internship offers a blend of office work and on-site work, providing a balanced learning experience. Interns will contribute to substation reliability, safety initiatives, and upgrades, gaining practical skills in a circular manufacturing model.

Requirements

• Complete a bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• Experience with electrical machinery, power distribution, PLCs/automation systems, or power electronics.
• Preference for GPA of at least 2.7.
• Examples of completed projects involving substation reliability, safety, or instrumentation/control.
