Steer is seeking a motivated Associate to join their team in London and the South East, contributing to the development of policy and integrated strategies for sustainable transport growth. The role involves engaging with government, industry, and communities, managing projects, and providing expert advice. They are looking for a pro-active problem solver and collaborative professional to navigate complex issues and deliver effective solutions.

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience of public sector transport projects in London and/or South East
• Experience of leading Local Transport Plan or Strategy development
• Strong and proven client management and work-winning skills
• Ability to make good bid decisions in line with company strategy
• Leadership and mentoring abilities
• Technical expertise and ability to communicate solutions with confidence
• Be comfortable working in creative multi-disciplinary teams
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and excellent written/verbal communication skills
