Job Description
Stoke is a rapidly growing Rocketry Machine Shop dedicated to creating reusable space vehicles. They are seeking a CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and program CNC milling and lathe machines, interpret GD&T drawings, and contribute to continuous improvement. The role involves both hands-on machining and collaboration with engineers on projects requiring rapid iteration.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in CNC milling and lathe machines
- 5-axis experience desired
- Exposure to programming of CNC machines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Rigorous attention to detail
- Ability to interpret GD&T
- Ability to work OT or occasional weekends
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, and maneuver in tight spaces
- Ability to withstand repetitive movements
- Ability to work repetitive movements, bending or twisting
