Job Description
STR’s Video & Image Understanding (VIU) Group is seeking a Summer Internship to develop and apply machine learning techniques to solve challenging computer vision problems. This is a part of the Intelligence Division, focused on solving real-world problems for national security and defense. The role offers mentorship, a collaborative work environment, and the opportunity to evaluate and optimize performance.
Requirements
- Enrollment in an MS or PhD degree program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related technical discipline.
- Successful track record of applying machine learning algorithms.
- Strong academic record and interest in research.
- Experience in scientific software development, particularly with Python.
