Job Description
Stronghold Investment Management is seeking a Vice President of Acquisitions to lead the expansion of their oil and gas asset portfolio. The role involves developing and executing acquisition strategies, managing a team, and operating high-volume transactions. The firm focuses on technology-driven, vertically integrated real asset investments, prioritizing speed, technical expertise, and financial structure. Stronghold seeks a dealmaker and business leader with a combination of technical skills and leadership experience.
Requirements
- 10–15+ years of experience in oil and gas acquisitions, land management, or related real asset sectors.
- Demonstrated success executing and closing high-volume mineral, leasehold, or surface transactions.
- Deep understanding of title, contracts, lease structures, and negotiation strategies.
- Strong leadership capabilities and experience building or managing lean, high-performing teams.
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills; Excel modeling or underwriting experience strongly preferred.
