Scientist to Principal Scientist, in-vitro Biology

This role is pivotal in driving the research pipeline and advancing drug discovery initiatives. The successful candidate will provide expertise in in vitro biology and assay development, establish core in vitro pharmacology capabilities, and oversee the design and execution of in vivo studies, including monitoring work conducted both internally and through CRO partners.

Requirements

• Study disease and target biology to evaluate new targets
• Propose new projects
• Establish in vitro and in vivo biology related competencies
• Lead biology and drive discovery project to progress and achieve milestones
• Design and execute biology studies to support target validation and drug candidate discovery
• Manage out-sourced studies with CROs and/or academic collaborators
• Responsible for data review, analysis and interpretation to enable program go/no-go decisions
• Work with research teams to manage multiple projects
• Support team members
• Interpret and present scientific findings at internal and external research meetings
• Collaborate and communicate across a diverse research team to progress scientific goals
