Senior Scientist, Research Data Management

Join our team as a Senior Scientist, Research Data Management, and contribute to cutting-edge science using unique GPCR structural data while making significant contributions to the industry-leading Drug Discovery R&D. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with Drug Discovery Scientists from in vitro and in vivo Biology, Chemistry, DMPK and Informatics departments to streamline data processes that support our internal candidate-drug programmes in our drug discovery pipeline.

Requirements

• Master's degree (or equivalent) in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or Data Science.
• Industry experience in drug discovery informatics, preferably 2+ years in research data management–related roles, with a strong understanding of scientific data types and data workflows across the drug discovery lifecycle.
• Proficiency with at least one commonly used biotech/pharma data management platform, such as CDD Vault, Dotmatics, or Revvity Signals.
• Experience with data manipulation and processing tools, such as Pipeline Pilot or KNIME.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools, including Spotfire, Vortex, or DataWarrior.
• Working knowledge of scripting and query languages (e.g. SQL, Python, or R), and understanding of challenges related to bulk data transfer, cross-platform integration, data warehousing, and data migration.
• Experience in developing, integrating, and improving custom data workflows, including rollout, user support, and continuous improvement.
• Highly organized, rigorous, and detail-oriented, with a structured mindset and ability to learn quickly.
• A strong team player with an inclusive, proactive, and positive “can-do” attitude, willing to listen, learn, and share knowledge.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams, supporting efficient data analysis, high data quality, and impactful data visualization.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese for daily professional communication.
