Student Wellbeing & Engagement Officer

The Student Wellbeing & Engagement Officer role is to support students face-to-face and online, providing excellent people skills and administrative ability. The post holder will provide first level support and referral to specialist services as required and establish a programme of activities to help students develop skills and confidence outside the classroom.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Recognised Safeguarding Qualification (DSL/DSO)
• Proven experience of providing pastoral or welfare support to adult international students in a higher education setting
• Experience of creating and delivering engaging wellbeing workshops or enrichment activities
• Experience working in a regulated or compliance-driven environment
• Experience facilitating the ‘student voice’, including gathering and acting on feedback effectively
• Ability to confidently communicate with students and colleagues face-to-face and in writing
• Accurate record-keeping and task management
